Q: What percentage of the three proprieties does Mexican Silver own?
A: Mexican Silver owns 100 percent of its properties---more than 322,000 acres of land. The company currently has no plans to enter into joint venture agreements, and the properties are only subject to a three percent royalty of net proceeds.
Q: What are the company's immediate plans?
A: The company has a six month $1M exploration program that is expected to begin in May of 2007. The program follows the recommendations of the NI 43-101 Technical Report completed by ACA Howe International Ltd. This plan currently focuses on the two higher priority projects---Ral and Providencia.
Q: Why is it significant that the deposits have only been mined to relatively shallow depths?
A: Silver-lead-zinc mantos are carbonate replacement deposits. They occur as vertically stacked horizontal sheets connected by chimneys and veins. Mantos deposits typically have considerable vertical extent and often increase in size. Previous historical operations did not have the technology to access this deeper mineralization.
Q: What kinds of sampling has the company completed on the properties? What results have been seen to date?
A: Currently the company has completed underground sampling and stream sediment sampling on two of the three projects. On both Ral and Providencia, multiple high grade samples have been found in the 3,000 grams per tonne range---with some grading as high as 7,000 grams per tonne and 30 percent zinc.
Q: Does management have the expertise to advance these projects?
A: Mexican Silver Mines is managed by a exciting team with more than 100 years of combined international resource sector experience. The board has been involved from day one---in everything from identifying an unrecognized silver belt and strategically acquiring a significant land position to modeling the mode of mineralization within the district and confirming the model through preliminary exploration.
This proven team already has a background of significant discoveries and, with exceptional progress to date, has an aggressive plan for the development of this high-potential silver belt.
